I did email my sister in the end who replied that Ma was still not entirely healthy again but was 'milking' it for all she was worth. You can see that sympathy runs in the family. As we had completely run out of cash, Sara and I went into the town last night, withdrew far too much from the hole in the wall and had a wonderful meal of salad followed by paella, the best of each I have ever eaten.
I didn't take a picture of the paella before we started, but this is what was left:
Sadly I left my baccy tin at the bus stop on the way home. Big boo hoo, I've had that tin for years and they're hard to find now. Unless you want a big dope leaf enamelled on the lid - there are planty of those. So, farewell then, baccy tin:
Today I'm up early having breakfast in the bar while I wait for the car hire place to open. Then we're off on an adventure into the non-tourist part of the island. Hardly seems fair to invade their privacy, but unlucky. Thanks again for the support. It really makes a big difference to how I feel, most especially when I'm out of reach of my home team.
